College National Finals Rodeo
In Wyoming, we know a thing or two about the Western way of life. Around here, rodeo is considered the official state sport so it’s fitting that the Cowboy State plays host to the College National Finals Rodeo (CNFR).
Each June, Casper welcomes 400+ of the best college and university rodeo athletes from around the country to the Ford Wyoming Center where they’ll go head-to-head to become a national champion as they compete in saddle bronc riding, bareback riding, bull riding, tie-down roping, steer wrestling, team roping, breakaway roping, goat tying and barrel racing.
Western Fest, June 9, 2024
This year Casper is celebrating 25 years of hosting the College National Finals Rodeo! Kick off your rodeo week with us Sunday, June 9, at Western Fest downtown Casper at David Street Station!
From 12:30 pm - 3 pm come enjoy food trucks, western vendors, carriage and pony rides, fun rodeo themed activities for the whole family, and country dancing lessons. Following close on the heels of the main event will be a movie night on the David Street Station green!
3:30 pm Home On The Range
5 pm 8 Seconds (PG-13 parents be advised)
We can't wait to see you there and to celebrate the place where champions have been made for 25 years!
Partnering together to bring you this great event are Visit Casper, 5150 Local, Advance Casper, David Street Station, Casper College, and the City of Casper.
