Casper Municipal Golf Course, Casper’s public 27-hole golf course, opened in 1929 with the original layout designed by Robert Muir Graves with sand greens as putting surfaces. In 1953, the greens were changed to bentgrass along with some re-routing of the holes, designed by Keith Foster, were opened. In 1996, The Links Course, an additional 9 holes designed by Golf Course Architect Keith Foster, was added to the Park and Highlands Courses.

Today, the Casper Municipal Golf Course has sweeping views of Casper Mountain and boasts three unique and challenging nines, the Park Course, the Highlands Course, and the Links Course, to create a different experience each time you play.

Each nine, being different in design characteristics, requires a unique variety of golf shots and playing strategies. The “Park” nine features tree-lined fairways with small greens while the “Highlands” nine is more open, with tricky, undulating greens. The “Links” course, the new nine, is a links style course with elevation changes, lots of native rough, and green complexes that will challenge any golfer’s short game and putting skills. Casper Municipal Golf Club is open from April 1st through October 31st. The facility includes a full service PGA staffed golf shop, a large practice range, putting and chipping greens, and the clubhouse is home to the Caddyshack restaurant & Lounge.
