Casper Mountain Trails Center
Managed by Natrona County Parks and serves, this facility serves as a hub for the Nordic trail system. These trails are also accessible in the summer and provide a variety of terrain, flora, and fauna. These trails range from difficulty from easy and fairly flat to hilly and technical. The Eadsville Trail is just under four miles and offers the most varied terrain and scenery and is very popular for hikers and mountain bikers.
Hogadon Basin Ski Area
With a variety of runs ranging from black diamond to beginner friendly, Hogadon Basin Ski Area is Natrona County's premier destination for outdoor recreation in the winter. It's budget friendly and significantly less crowded than comparable ski resorts across the Rocky Mountain Region, making it the perfect place for the family ski trip.
Ponderosa Park
Located in the southeast portion of Casper Mountain, Ponderosa Park offers over 2,460 acres of property and two canyons with trails/ORV loops. The road accessing the park is not for a city vehicle. Take a four-wheel drive with some clearance to access the area. This trail system is approximately 25 minutes from Casper. The park is in its natural state with streams, timber, sagebrush, flats, and cliffs.
