Westward Expansion in the 19th century had an unexpected glitch – initially, not many women traveled west. How did frontiersmen find romance on the plains? On Saturday, August 25, at 1 p.m., National Park Service Ranger Lesley Gaunt explores the early history of mail order brides during “The Dating Game-Old West Style.”
The NHTIC proudly presents a summer of free afternoon programs on pioneer and Wyoming history. These short interpretive programs, ranging from 20 to 45 minutes, are free and open to the public.
