Description

Music played an important part in the lives of those journeying westward along the trails. Songs helped pass the time on the long trek. Songs told stories from the homes they had left behind, and spoke of hope for the new lives they would lead in the west. Join folksingers Hank Cramer, Clinton Carter and Sarah Carter as they share popular songs of the era, accompanied on guitars, harp, and bodhran. Performance times at the NHTIC will be 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m.

The NHTIC proudly presents a summer of afternoon programs on pioneer and Wyoming history. These short interpretive programs, ranging from 20 to 45 minutes, are free and open to the public.
