Celebrate all that is fall with the Fuller Farmer Harvest Festival. We kick our month long celebration off with the Preliminary cooking competition at the Merry Peddler. September 15th bring your most creative dish to the Merry Peddler and compete to move into the finals on September 29th. Catogories are Adult (15 and over) and Youth (14 and under) Prizes for first and second place are $1000.00 and $500.00.
Divine Travels LLC and the Casper Community Greenhouse Project are hosting Food Network Chef Nancy Fuller from Farm House Rules and the Spring Baking Contest. The weekend is filled with events. On September 28th the Casper Community Greenhouse Project is hosting the Harvest Dinner Meet & Greet with Nancy Fuller at the Lyric, downtown Casper. This is an auction and fundraising dinner with a special treat from Nancy Fuller. Sponsors and guests will have an opportunity to meet Nancy, bid on silent and live auction items, (including a trip to New York to have dinner with Nancy Fuller). Dinner begins with cocktails at 6 and dinner at 7pm catered by Occasions by Cory! We will feature lots of local foods in dinner. Tickets are available at https://growcasper.ejoinme.org/tickets
Saturday is a free to the public and will be open from 9:30am to 4pm. We will kick off our event with a mini parade of the Percheron horses with special dignitaries and guests through downtown. All other events will take place at the Lyric or surrounding area. WYO Central Parking lot will host kid’s crafts and activities while Noland Feed will host the Percheron Horses for rides in the wagon and pictures with the horses. Craft and Farmers Market vendors, beer garden, will all be inside the Lyric as will all presentations by Nancy Fuller. Nancy Fuller will meet and greet, sign books and judge the cooking competition. The cooking competition will begin by bringing your most creative dish to the Lyric at noon. David Street Station Fall Fest will host a variety of activities and music as well.
