Crom Saunders brings his one-man show “Cromania!” to Casper College on Friday, Feb. 2 at 6:30 p.m. in Durham Auditorium.
The show features skits that incorporate American Sign Language, pop culture, impersonations, improvisation, puns, and physical feats into one big laugh fest, according to Gail Schenfisch, American Sign Language instructor at Casper College.
The show, which is free and open to the public, is part of the college’s Second Annual Sign Fest. “Approximately 300 American Sign Language students from sign language classes at Casper College, Kelly Walsh High School, and Dean Morgan Middle School will participate in workshops led by Mr. Saunders and local deaf community members during Sign Fest,” said Schenfisch.
The purpose of Sign Fest is to further develop sign students’ skills in literary and grammatical features of sign language, meet other American Sign Language students from around Natrona County, and provide the opportunity to students to interact with local deaf community members.
“Cromania!” and Sign Fest are made possible through a grant from BOCES – the Board of Cooperative Educational Services. For more information contact Schenfisch at 307-268-2588 or gschenfisch@caspercollege.edu.
Durham Auditorium is located in Aley Hall on the Casper College campus.
