The Downtown Development Authority is proud to announce the lighting of downtown Casper’s Community Christmas Tree at David Street Station- Presented by River Valley Builders.
The lighting will take place prior to the Downtown Casper Christmas Parade on Saturday, November 25th. Starting at 4:30pm, visitors will be treated to Christmas carolers and will have the opportunity to purchase hot cocoa and hot apple cider. Then around 5pm, a short ceremony will officially start the holiday season with the lighting of the Community Christmas Tree.
Many companies and individuals participated in the harvesting, transportation, base fabrication, crane operation, engineering, installation, lights and decorations for the tree. Special thanks to River Valley Builders, whose generous donation and sponsorship made the 2017 Christmas tree at David Street Station a reality. Also thanks to the Magrum Family, Rodolph Brothers, Viking Crane, Richardson Trucking, Galles Greenhouse, Caspar Building Systems, Bob Lower, and the entire Downtown Development Authority Board of Directors for their help in making the Community Christmas Tree safe, secure, and beautiful for the people of Casper.
The 2017 tree will be adorned with holiday decorations and white lights. These lights will complement the permanent string lights at David Street Station, making the area a festive space in downtown Casper. The tree will remain at David Street Station until after the New Year, and all are invited to experience the tree while holiday shopping at local merchants.
The 2017 Community Christmas Tree at David Street Station is brought to you by our friends at River Valley Builders.
