Visit Casper is seeking a Content Marketing Coordinator to assist the Marketing Manager in executing tactics to support internal and external communication programs that advance Visit Casper’s strategy. We are looking for an individual who is a passionate storyteller who can craft powerful destination stories. He or she will be responsible for crafting and executing marketing content, social media, advertising campaigns, influencer, brand awareness programs/events and more.


Collaborate with team (designer, sales, external influences, partners and industry experts) to produce compelling content for websites, marketing emails, social platforms, etc.
Develop and craft/write powerful destination content that has readers/visitors imagining a trip to Casper across difference sources, i.e. magazine ads/editorials, digital advertising, brochures, video, etc.
Leverage existing performance measurement tools to evaluate content performance. Provide thoughts and recommendations to better leverage content to support business objectives.
Edit and proof all marketing pieces to ensure accuracy and brand compliance.
Assist with graphic design (Adobe Creative Suite skills required) and copywriting.
Help create, facilitate and manage Visit Casper owned events.
Help organize familiarization tours to acquaint clients, influencers and media with activities, events and attractions in Casper.
Assist with day-to-day management, post creation, ad creation and engagement of Visit Casper’s social media community across Facebook, Instagram and other emerging social platforms.
Develop and distribute various communications with key partners regarding events and upcoming groups.
Work with industry partners to maintain open flow of communication.
Complete post-meeting follow-up to include post-convention surveys, thank you letters and pick up reports.


Provide backup support for other staff as needed.
May travel to attend meetings, conference and trainings.
May be required to attend special events and meeting during evenings and weekends as needed.
Proficiency in the use of computers and related equipment, hardware and software applicable to area of assignment.
Effective oral and written communications.
Skill in prioritizing, tracking and managing multiple projects, assignments and duties.

Natural content creator with a passion for writing clear, compelling, attractive copy with a distinct voice.
Self-starter who is eager to help craft content ideas, able to set goals and priorities and operate in a rapidly changing environment.
Strong creative thinker who understand that words play a crucial part of the design process and can work side by side with the Marketing Manager and external agencies.
Strategic mindset with the ability to dive into daily social community management, developing a deep understanding of our brands and utilizing analytics to make smart content recommendations and posting/advertising decisions.


The ability to work well with others and resolve conflicts, comfortable with MS Office, Word Press, Adobe Creative Suite and social media platforms. Must possess superb writing, editing and proofreading skills. The successful candidate will be highly organized, able to work under pressure, physically stand for long periods of time and lift and carry boxes up to 35 pounds. Must be/become a Certified Tourism Ambassador™ and be willing to learn our CRM platform.

The successful candidate will also be expected to provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

A Bachelor’s degree and 1-3 years of relevant experience in marketing, communications, PR and/or sales support is preferred. Photography is a plus.
