For the first time since 2007, the Cowboy State Games return to Casper with an Olympic-style festival program for athletes of all ages and skill levels. This is the state’s premiere opportunity for amateur competition in winter indoor and outdoor sports. 2017 events include downhill skiing, snowboarding, ice hockey and figure skating. Additionally, individual snowshoeing, nordic skiing, fatbike races, and a winter triathlon combining all three will be held on Casper Mountain. The Cowboy State Games are open games, and anyone can compete.
