Bridle Trail

Take the road less traveled

Share

For a ride as technical and as advanced as it gets, head up to Rotary Park and ride the Bridle Trail’s 5 mile outer loop. This ride can take anywhere from 60 to 90 minutes depending on your skill level, and you’ll face every surface imaginable including packed dirt, exposed roots, rock and sand. Whether you’re going up (including a 1,300 foot ascension in 1.6 miles) or down, expect a thrill. But as you’re suffering, look over your shoulder to enjoy a breathtaking view of the city — if you have any breath left.

“Whether you’re going up or down, expect a thrill.”

While this trail is full of signage and well-marked with maps at every junction, it’s primarily used by hikers and joggers, so be sure to yield to other user groups. This is the most physical course Casper offers, so it’s not for everyone, but if you are able to complete this ride, you’ll be rewarded with stunning overlooks of Garden Creek Falls and the Casper area.
