Never-before exhibited works by Robert Russin are on display at the Nicolaysen Art Museum. Russin was a sculptor, artist and University of Wyoming professor.
He was best known for a number of public sculptures throughout the United States including the giant bust of Abraham Lincoln on 1-80 in Wyoming, the "Spirit of Life" foundation sculpture located at the City of Hope National Medical Center in California.
Casper home to other major outdoor works by Russin, including "Fountainhead" at City Hall, "Man and Energy" at the Chamber of Commerce and "Prometheus" at the Natrona county Public Library.
The show features several sculptures and studies along with drawings and paintings.
