Experience small-town Wyoming and world-class history at its best during Salt Creek Days in Midwest. This annual event is a celebration of community, frontier spirit and summer, complete with a parade, community picnic and golf tournament. Explore the rich history of central Wyoming as you tour the Salt Creek Museum and learn about the establishment and growth of the world’s largest light-oil producing field.

Softball Tournament Starts Friday night at 6:00 p.m. & goes through Sunday. Sign up by Wednesday before tournament. The softball tournament takes breaks so people can join in other events.
$75.00 entry fee.
5K Glow Walk/Run Meet at the Midwest park pavilion. Starts at 7:00 p.m. Friday night.
Gathering At the Rimrock Bar, Friday night at 9:00 p.m.
Golf Tournament Held Saturday morning at 7:00 a.m. – $25.00 entry per person
Parade Line up Saturday at 9:00 a.m. – Parade starts at 10:00 a.m.
5th Annual Car Show Those cars that will be in the parade meet in front of the Prairie Schooner Bar at 9:00 a.m. –
Car show will be held at the Midwest Park at 11:00 a.m. Saturday.
Kids’ Carnival Games Starts Saturday afternoon at 11:00 a.m. at the Midwest Park.
Bouncy House & Water Slide Wrist bands will be available for the weekend.
Junior Volleyball Tournament Grades 3rd to 8th. Starts at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday afternoon at the Midwest Park. $30 per team.
Coed Sand Volleyball Tournament Starts Saturday afternoon at 2:00 a.m. – $30.00 per team.
Roller Girls Will be at the Midwest Park from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Community Dance Held at the Midwest park pavillion at 7:00 p.m. until 11:00 Saturday. For ALL ages.
Horseshoe Tournament Starts Sunday morning 8:00 a.m. – $10.00 entry per team.
3 on 3 Basketball Tournament Starts Sunday 9:00 a.m. at the Midwest Park
Sidewalk Chalk Decorating Contest Held in the Midwest Park Sunday at 11:00 a.m.
Community Picnic An ALL community picnic will be held at the Midwest Clinic yard (old Senior Center building). A $3.00 minimum per plate will be appreciated.
